Silverwing Psychiatry offers comprehensive psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents, and select adults. This includes full diagnostic evaluation with review of previous records, medication management, brief psychotherapy interventions as needed, and advocacy with schools and other organizations.

We do offer one time consultations for recommendations and second opinions as well. Please reach out for more information.

Getting started is simple! Reach out through the website’s contact form, call/text the office at 775-559-3744, or email us at hello@silverwingpsychiatry.com. We’ll get back to you ASAP and walk you through the next steps. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day. Once you are an established patient, you have direct access to Dr. Cotton through the patient portal, phone, email, and text.

Silverwing Psychiatry is designed to allow us to spend an extended amount of time with patients. We have extended availability/hours, and we work closely with families to ensure the highest quality of care. We do so much more than medication management, focusing on the whole person as well as family dynamics and other external factors that affect mental health. We can arrange for virtual, in office, or in home visits to meet your family’s needs.

Yes! Silverwing Psychiatry does offer one time consultation services for families who are just looking for diagnostic impressions and/or recommendations. We also offer second opinion services with comprehensive review of prior records. Please reach out to Silverwing Psychiatry for more information about one time consultation services.

Yes! We accept most adults with neurodevelopmental disorders and genetic conditions. We also accept other adult patients on a case by case basis. If you are an adult and would like to be seen, please reach out to us for a brief consultation. Please note that Silverwing Psychiatry does not accept geriatric patients at this time.

At this time, we do not accept any insurance. We are exclusively a concierge service. We are happy to provide a Superbill for your insurance company for you to seek reimbursement. We understand that cost is an important consideration, and we're happy to discuss what that might look like for your family during your free consultation.
